Auto valve body gasket

Morning all, has anyone got a spare valve body gasket for my 77 Princess auto? It is the larger of the two plates with the drain plug on. My endless gasket sets of course don't have one!

What type of LED should I look for as my current cover has a carefully placed sellotape reinforcement fitted and my new unused cover is in a protective sealed environment to preserve it.

Check your drains

Having been irritated about why the driver's footwell filled with water I thought I would have a look under the wiper bulkhead grilles. I remember having a XJS that used to fill with water due to a blocked bulkhead drain so I wondered if it was the same problem. Sure enough both the drains were full...

Re: Project KPK

You reminded me of when I had a P reg Wolseley (KLU33P) and a N reg Morris (JAV309N) at the same time in the 1990s. The Morris had the angled reflectors at the back and no triangle bracing panels in the rear corners under the back seat, however the Wolseley had the later lights and the braces. I thi...

Re: Telly 8 Track

It is an acquired taste, that I haven't quite acquired yet. It is much better is every sense to take along the phone and bluetooth speaker, and listen to Spotify. If everything was for the best I imagine that I wouldn't have installed an 8 Track! Really enjoyed doing it though.

70s tint

After a good wash and polish Hector had his photo taken with a 70s tint on my phone which applied a slight beige hue to the experience.

Telly 8 Track

Taking advantage of the bank holiday I wired up the 8 Track. I imagine it is a while since a bank holiday has been spent doing this and listening to Telly Savalis. Sound quality is average in acoustics and talent.

Another view from the side. I agree I wouldn't have put the Stag wheels on it unless it was black/chrome.

A Princess for the sporty gent

Finally got around to buying new tyres for the Stag alloys and fitting them to the Princess. Makes quite a difference and met with approval from my 11 year old, so job done.

New old plates

With a day off and good weather I fitted some new old style plates. Really improves the appearance and looks so much more in keeping than the perspex ones.

Hi, I don't want to fit Denovos but I want to know their size, to give an indication of what size tyres can fit without catching or rubbing.

Denovo size

Hi,
Does anyone know the size of the Denovo tyres? I have got a nice set of Stag alloys and have yet to buy the tyres. I believe Denovos are wider than 185 and I know that Stag alloys can accommodate wider than 185 so I wondered how wide could I go without rubbing the bodywork?

Has anyone got good photos of a Princess with Stags alloys and Minilite style alloys please?

Wolseley KLU33P still alive?

Hi all, I was wondering if my old Wolseley is still out there. I had to sell it due to storage issues in 2001. It was Harvest Gold with sorrel interior. It was not road worthy but only had 40000 miles on it. The chap who bought it was going to restore it but no idea what happened to it. Would be goo...

Thank you everyone for the welcome. The photo looks great, it has lost its BL mud flaps since then - are there any out there for sale?
Hopefully it will be up and running soon!

Greetings from Hampshire

Hi everyone, I am the proud owner of a black/ mink 1977 Princess HLS. I have had it for almost ten years but it has remained hidden and unused as my children and life have taken all my energy and patience! However I am now getting it back on the road with a full service and sorting out the sagging s...
