I had a perfect working ASU fitted to my car, started and warmed the car up perfectly. Unfortunately it wouldn't pass the MOT with it fitted due to emission problem couldn't get it to pass emission test. Ive long since given up on ASU and got a Manuel choke fitted.

How well implemented was the wood on the dashboard part? I'm curious as to whether I'm missing out on this fabulous upgrade or not, I do quite like my black dashboard, not sure whether id want wood on it or not

The pins can be a bit of a nuisance to get out if they've not been disturbed in a while, that could be what stopped them. It's ideal to have them fitted, it stops the arms dropping too far if you do get a bit enthusiastic with it or have to stop in a hurry, bit of a safety measure to prevent them o...

So I finally got the Radiator restored to "like new" from a company called Guilford radiators, very pleased with the result and once fitted I could finally look into using/restoring her again. dragged her out the garage, charged battery and took her for MOT, PASSED! got very cheap classic car insura...

I'm 26 and own an Ambassador, ive never been slated for it, people are always very intrigued and interested! most give very warm and positive comments, but many simply think its a Princess, sometimes i cant even be bothered to tell them the whole Ambassador story lol

As soon as ive got my Ambo going and then taxed and tested then im there, with my new job i get a weekend off every 3 weeks but i always have Sundays off so thats best day for me if its possible!

just need a starter motor to get her going wink wink kev ;)
