It’s on eBay now! It has some interesting looking evidence of “enthusiastic” modifications: e.g. - some chunky looking relays that look like they’re rated for 3 phase electricity and a cold air induction setup under the bonnet - plus a rear wiper conversion and those awful lights in the front grille...

What a lovely car you have there! Identical to the one I owned briefly around 2006/7 - NGT 964P - which hasn't been taxed since 2010 or so, hopefully it's tucked away safe and sound somewhere as that too was in excellent condition for its age.

I think we need to start chasing the stragglers down proactively - once we get down to the inevitable last few who are not communicating or are unable to pay up, then perhaps the serial wedge fiddlers amongst us who would have more than one car in mind for these could consider taking on the outstand...

Have you tried specialists such as carburettor hospital or southern carburettors for advice?

Also I would give collectors car parts a try - they always surprise me with what they have - plus Howard is a great bloke and might have further suggestions.

I recall Peter Simpson had a sand glow Princess as a staff car in the early to mid 90s? At the time that was rust-free too....

Andy, check out eBay item number 201836183533, up for 50 quid - I think it's the correct bonnet for your Wolseley? If so it looks like it might clean up better than the one on the car (I note the gaffer tape on the edges of yours)?

As for the Colour. I've been told that it could be the only white Wolseley left, with that in mind It makes the decision harder..... I do really like Lagoon and cosmic, however I have the Sorrel interior, it is rather worn however so if anyone has a Navy Interior in the future I would be very inter...

Hi Martin, I deliberately avoided anything that will sacrifice torque and fuel economy for outright power as that goes against guiding principle number 4! I tend not to rev cars so what I'm looking for is low down punch and (when this isn't being employed) a bonus improvement in economy over standar...
