That is not correct. Have you misread 1969 for 1979?! After April 1st 2019: You do not need to pay vehicle tax if your vehicle was built before 1 January 1979. hiya,iv'e just been looking on the dvla site about road tax and it says cars must have been built before 1969,and not 40 year old.i was getting ready to register my 1980 princess,so if this is correct i will still have to pay road tax

thanks for that,i thought it was ok but saw a post where unleaded was blamed for engine damage.i also have seen that bp has the lowest content of ethenol and so is safer,with supermarket fuels the highest,i will continue to check it out

unleaded or not

hello folks,i'm using unleaded fuel in my 82 2.0l hl ambassador,and a 1.7 hl princes.i was told they were ok to run without addatives but recently saw a post on facebook that unleaded can cause enginedamage.can enyone put my mind at rest please and confirm what fuel to use please

I use regular unleaded in 1700 O series (it's not fond of super) and have done for years with no ill effect. I've recently switched to Shell-only rather than supermarket fuel at the insistence of a friend who is convinced it's better. We'll see how the car gets on. B series cars are best run with a...

first question then,when i had my other wedges,almost 30 years ago,i think i used 4* petrol,now it''''s all unleaded do i need to use a fuel addetive.

hello,i have just joined after getting another wedge,38 years since owning an ambassador,and two other princess.hope to get out to some shows in the summer
