hello,i have just joined after getting another wedge,38 years since owning an ambassador,and two other princess.hope to get out to some shows in the summer

first question then,when i had my other wedges,almost 30 years ago,i think i used 4* petrol,now it''''s all unleaded do i need to use a fuel addetive.

The O series is fine without additives. I personally always use 97 Octane or above (usually Shell Vpower - 98 ) although plenty of people tell me I'm wasting my money. They may well be right but it makes me feel better.

I use regular unleaded in 1700 O series (it's not fond of super) and have done for years with no ill effect. I've recently switched to Shell-only rather than supermarket fuel at the insistence of a friend who is convinced it's better. We'll see how the car gets on. B series cars are best run with additives or converted, just as you would an MG B or similar.
