Part number help...

Post by Simon M » Wed Oct 02, 2019 2:19 pm

Would anyone be able to give me the part numbers for the front and rear crankshaft oil seals for a 2200 auto Princess 2 (1980)? Having a spot of bother finding the front one!!

The front crankshaft seal is 88G 562 (same for both transmissions) and is I believe available from :_

Part Details
88G562 (OIL SEAL)
Price: Price on application
15 available

Distributor Address
A E Wilcox
Wickwar Garage
High Street
Wickwar
Gloucestershire
GL12 8NG
www.aewilcox.co.uk

Contact: John Wilcox

Tel: 01454 294213

The rear automatic one is part number 13H2457 and fits other BL products. Several places seem to have them if you google the part number. I think Rimmers may have both of them.

Hope this helps.

No Jeff you are incorrect with the rear one. You are quoting an oil seal for a manual (14 on the picture in the catalogue). The automatic one is as I stated in my post below(18 in the catalogue picture).
