Wiper Switch 2.0 HL

Post by JimzBridges » Thu Dec 06, 2018 10:28 am

I see this has been asked before, as it happens, for the same car.

We seem to need a replacement wiper switch, as the one in situ is not suitable (can not be used to select intermittent wipers).

Is it just a case of haunting eBay and auto jumbles ? or is there a spare on out there ?

Thanks.

If a replacement wiper switch has been fitted and it still won't wipe intermittently then it means either your car doesn't have that feature or the timer unit is faulty. We do have column stalk unit wipers/indicators available.

KWacKers (my VDP Ambo) hasn't got intermittent wipers fitted, only a single stroke or the normal 2 speeds. Neither does it have a low fuel warning light which it's supposed to have...

Previous MOT paperwork and invoices suggest a non Ambassador switch has been retro fitted. I'll look into it after Christmas now so thanks for the link. Have bookmarked it.
